More about me!

HI! I’m Anijah McLaurin — a Design major + Media Studies minor at the University of San Francisco (’26). Home for me is Washington, D.C. I was surrounded by various forms of art, which shaped my perspective and fueled my passion for design. Attending an arts-focused high school was a pivotal experience, sparking my commitment to a career where I can merge creativity and media to make an impact in the world. I care about design that moves culture forward especially work that amplifies underrepresented stories. I believe design changes how people see, feel, and act.

When I’m not designing: I’m outside—posted up in a park with friends or dancing at a concert. Reading is a big part of my life, so there’s usually a book in my tote, and I’m forever on the hunt for my next favorite coffee shop. I love exploring new food spots around the city, from hole-in-the-wall gems to pop-ups.
